Our Instructors

Ciara Oliva
Ciara is a highly qualified Pilates instructor with over eight years of experience and certifications from the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). Specialising in ante- and post-natal Pilates, cycling and running specific Pilates, and neurological rehabilitation, she has also shared her expertise as a presenter for the APPI. As a Physiotherapist, she was honoured to serve as Lead Physiotherapist for the British Wheelchair Fencing Team at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
A former Team GB Olympic athlete and World Championship medallist in track and road cycling, Ciara draws on her achievements, physiotherapy knowledge, and experience as a mother to create holistic Pilates classes. Her sessions focus on recovery, performance, and helping clients feel stronger and more balanced.
Esther Goldsmith
Esther grew up as a dancer and it was during her professional dance training that she also trained to become a Pilates instructor. Rather than pursue a career in dancing, Esther did a masters in physiology and has been working as a Sport Scientist for the last 6 years, currently working at Sport Wales and doing some private work with Ultra marathon runners and England Athletics.
Whilst studying for her MSc, Esther taught Pilates in local gyms and on a 1:1 private basis, and then ran many online classes for triathletes and runners during lockdown. As a runner herself (trail ultras being her particular favourite!) Esther uses her experiences from dancing, running, cycling and working with athletes in her Pilates classes.
