I started attending Ciara’s Pilates classes as a form of injury prevention. I play competitive tennis and wanted to stay as injury free as possible. During the classes there are always clear demonstrations and also a variety of levels for each exercise. Ciara is very hands on and is always available to answer questions make any adjustments or suggest alternative exercises. The classes are very welcoming and people of all levels of fitness and experience attend. I can feel, and see, the benefit of attending a regular Pilates class and would recommend anyone to try Ciara’s class.

I started practicing Pilates with Ciara after the birth of my second child. I had briefly done some Pilates whilst pregnant to help with some back pain I was experiencing through the NHS, but never really grasped the technique. I immediately noticed in Ciara’s lessons how well she explains the movements and also makes time to come around everybody and check they are carried out correctly. Ciara also has an ability to tailor her sessions for everyone. She demonstrates the moves at all different levels to suit everyone in her class, ensuring it is inclusive yet also challenging. I always felt progress after her sessions. In addition to all of the above, I find Ciara to be an inspirational Pilates teacher. She is so incredibly passionate about Pilates and explains what the movements are doing to your body/muscle groups.

I have always been a big believer in Pilates. Since recovering from a broken back in 2014 it’s been a big part of my life and when Ciara started teaching and offering online classes in 2020 I was able to take part from afar.
Ciara’s knowledge of the body was so incredible. All the variations she offers for exercises depending on your ability and variety within her sessions kept things fun, challenging and interesting. I feel like I could really connect with the way that Ciara was teaching and felt every single tiny movement.
